If your image is a realistic depiction of something real or something that looks real, it should go in Traditional, regardless of how much processing you actually did on it-- even if it has replaced parts like skies or other major changes. The key is whether it looks like something that could have been captured on film, or was intended to look that way: if yes, Traditional, if no, Creative.

If it is monochromatic (not just close, but using a single tone over the entire image) it goes in Monochrome. (Surprise!)

Anything else goes in Creative, which the 4Cs calls Altered Reality.

Probably not. Competition night may take some getting used to. Consider starting out by submitting images to Clinic Night, where you'll get useful analysis of image strengths and weaknesses. Once you have been through the critique process, have a feel for what judges look for, and have steeled yourself to the possibility that it might not go well, sure, try it out.
